Bamboo steamer is perfect for steaming a variety of foods from vegetables to rice pancakes. Featuring a 5 inch diameter, the set comes complete with two bases and one lid.
Prepare Your Steamer: Place the 5" steamer base in a pot or wok that is wide enough to accommodate it. Ensure the pot has a lid that fits well.
Add Water: Pour water into the pot, making sure it doesn’t touch the bottom of the steamer base. The water level should be just below the steamer to allow steam to circulate.
Arrange Your Food: Place the food you want to steam on the steamer base. You can steam vegetables, dumplings, fish, and more. Make sure to leave some space between the pieces for the steam to circulate.
Cover and Steam: Put the lid on the pot and bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer. Steam the food until it is cooked through. Cooking times will vary depending on what you’re steaming.
Check Water Level: Keep an eye on the water level to ensure it doesn’t dry out. Add more water if necessary.
