Asia Market are delighted to announce their first ever, ‘Cherry Blossom Festival’ event on Saturday 21st April located on 18 Drury Street Dublin 2.
This all day in-store free family event will be a celebration of all things Japanese with exciting food sampling, cooking demonstrations, a competition to win 2 amazing family tickets including a VIP tour of the wonderful Japanese Gardens in Kildare. We will have free Culture talks on Japanese Pop Culture, Tips for travelling in Japan and all you need to know about Bonsai Trees.
The store will be adorned with Pink Cherry Blossom decorations to celebrate Hanami which is a long-standing Japanese tradition of welcoming spring. Also known as the “cherry blossom festival,” this annual celebration is about appreciating the temporal beauty of nature. People gather under blooming cherry blossoms for food, drink, songs, companionship and the beauty of Sakura (cherry blossoms).
