Celebrate the Lunar New Year by learning the art of dumpling making in a fun, hands-on masterclass hosted by Asia Market. Taking place on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at our Drury Street store in Dublin, this event is perfect for food enthusiasts of all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Led by the talented Chef Jianan Liu of Janet’s @ Eatyard (winner of RTÉ’s Takeaway Titans 2022) and our very own Eva Pau, TV chef and commercial director at Asia Market, these classes will immerse you in the rich traditions of dumpling making.

What to Expect:

  • Discover the symbolic significance of dumplings, shaped like ancient Chinese ingots to bring wealth and prosperity in the new year.
  • Watch a live demonstration by Janet and Eva as they show you how to make two types of dumplings from scratch.
  • Roll, fill, and shape your own dumplings, with plenty of tasting along the way!
