Chocolate Custard Steamed Buns Recipe

Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Nature's Charm Evaporated Coconut Milk
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder dissolved in 1 tablespoon of evaporated coconut milk
Filling
- 3/4 cup Nature's Charm coconut custard
- 100g dark chocolate, melted

Method
- Step 1: Combine custard and melted chocolate, mix until smooth and well combined. Place in the Fridge For 1 hour or until thicken.
- Step 2: To make the buns, in a large mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients, add in oil, dissolved cocoa and evaporated coconut milk gradually, mix into a dough. Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- Step 3: Knead the dough until smooth, elastic, and shiny. Cover with kitchen towel to prevent it from drying out.
- Step 4: Divide the dough into 6 pieces. Shape each dough into a ball.
- Step 5: Flatten the ball with your palm into a circle. Place about 1 tablespoon of chocolate custard in the center.
- Step 6: Gather up the edges to seal and shape into around ball.
- Step 7: Place the bun on the parchment paper squares. Cover and set in a warm place to rise for 20 minutes.
- Step 8: Steam buns for 15 minutes on low heat. Serve warm. Enjoy!
