Festive Crispy Sausage Wontons with a cranberry hoisin dipping sauce

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the sausage meat, hoisin sauce, mustard, honey, oyster sauce and sesame oil. 
  2. To wrap the wonton, on a plate or flat surface, add 1 tsp of sausage mixture, 1/2 tsp of tomato relish, line one part of the edge with water and fold over to make a triangle and the crimp the edges together.
  3. In a small pot, heat some oil ( approximately 1 1/2 inch height of your pot). When the oil is hot, add the wonton to it and shallow fry them on both sides on medium heat for about 5- 8 until they are golden brown. 
  4. To make the dipping sauce, mix all ingredients together and ready to serve. 
Notes:
You can make these wontons ahead of time before your guests arrive and reheat in your air fryer or oven before serving.
