Malaysian Chicken Rendang Recipe
Main Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
- 1/3 cup cooking oil
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- 3 star anise
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 lemongrass
- 1 cup Nature's Charm Coconut Milk
- 1 cup water
- 5 Lime Leaves
- 5 tablespoons coconut shavings
- 1 tablespoon sugar or to taste
- salt to taste

Directions for Use
To make this famous Malaysian dish, you shall:
Step 1: Heat the oil in a pan, add the Dollee Rendang Paste, star anise, cardamom pods , cinnamon, cloves, and and mix well until fragrant. Add the chicken and lemongrass Mix well with the spices. Add the nature's charm coconut milk, water, and simmer on medium heat, stirring frequently until the chickenis cooked.
Step 2: Add the 5 lime leaves, coconut shavings and mix well. set the heat between medium & low, cover the lid, and slowly simmer for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked . Add sugar and salt according to your taste. Serve with rice.
