Mee Goreng Malaysian Fried Egg Noodle Recipe
Main Ingredients
- 1 Raw Chicken Breast, Sliced into bite size pieces
- Choi Sum- 6 Stalks washed & cut into 2 inch pieces(ifyou don'thaveChoisumyou can use any other green)
- Cooked Egg Noodles
- Fried Tofu- 4 to 5 pieces sliced into cubes
- Beansprouts-100g
- Spring Onion - 2 stalks
- Dollee Fried Shallots
- 1/2 lime
- Oil for cooking
Paste
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Banana Shallots - 2
- Fresh Red Chillis - 1 large
- Water - 2tbsp
Sauce
- Kecap Manis / Sweet Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
- Oyster Sauce-1 tbsp
- Ketchup-2 tbsp
- Light Soy-1 tbsp
- Dollee Sambal with Shrimp-1 big tsp
Directions for Use
To make this famous Malaysian dish, you shall:
Step 1: Bleand all the paste ingredients together for 1 minute and se aside.
Step 2: In a small bowl, mic all the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Step 3: In a wok, heat some cooking oil. Add the paste and stir fry for 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the chicken stir fry for 1 minute.
Step 4: Now stir in the Choi Sum, Noodles, Premixed Sauce and Fried Tofu. Sti fry for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Add in the beansprouts and Spring onion.Stir fry for 1 minute. Add a squeeze oflime and ready to serve.
Step 6: Garnish with finely chopped spring onions and some fried shallots.
