Step 2: Pour in the rice, (vegetable mix), (sliced egg), Nasi Goreng Paste. Stir-fry until aromatic.

(Optional) Place cucumber slices next to the fried rice as garnishment.
Step 4: Garnish with chopped spring onion. Serve hot and enjoy!
Additional Instructions
Preparation:
- Marinate the Chicken or Prawns: For extra flavor, marinate the chicken or prawns with a bit of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for at least 15 minutes before cooking.
- Prepare the Vegetables: If using fresh vegetables instead of a mix, chop them into bite-sized pieces. Common choices include carrots, bell peppers, and peas.
Cooking:
- Fry the Egg: If you prefer a fried egg, cook it first and set it aside. This ensures it stays intact and doesn’t overcook.
- Add Garlic: For an extra layer of flavor, add minced garlic to the pan along with the onion and chicken/prawns.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste the dish before serving and adjust the seasoning if necessary. You can add a bit of soy sauce, salt, or pepper to suit your taste.
Serving:
- Add a Side Dish: Serve the Nasi Goreng with a side of sambal (spicy chili paste) for those who like it hot.
- Presentation: For a more appealing presentation, use a mold to shape the rice before placing it on the plate. Top with the sunny side up egg and garnish with cucumber slices and spring onion.
Enjoy your delicious Nasi Goreng! ????
