Ingredients
- Odlum Cream Flour – 1/4 cup
- FLCK Potato Starch – 1/4 cup
- Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Egg – 1 pc
- Water – 1/3 cup
- Green Prawns, Peeled, Deveined and Coarsely Chopped – 150g
- Sweet Potato, Peeled, and Cut in Long Thin Pieces – 150g
- Spring Onion – 2 pc
- KTC Groundnut Oil, to fry
- Maeploy Sweet Chilli Sauce, to serve
- Lime Wedges, to serve
Order Ingredients
Method
- Step 1: Mix the Plain Flour and the Potato Starch with Baking Powder. Dig a well in the centre of the Flour pile, and add the Egg into it. Gradually add some Water to the Flour well, and continue whisking them until a smooth batter is formed. Add Prawns, Sweet Potato and Spring Onion to the batter.
- Step 2: Take a medium saucepan and fill one-third of it with Oil. Heat up the pan to 170°C and put ¼ cupful of batter into the Oil. Fry the batter for 2 minutes each side by flipping it over. You may fry the batter in two batches if you wish. The dish is ready to serve. It is ideal to serve with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Lime Wedges.
