Mushroom is consumed as a food in most of the Asian countries notably in China, Japan and Korea, and also in European countries. Mushroom is in fact edible fungus, and thus it is treated as the 'meat of the world of vegetables'. Here we have a section for canned or tinned mushrooms, added in brine in order to preserve for longer shelf life. Chinese po-ku mushrooms, golden needle mushrooms, straw mushrooms, etc are a few among our canned varieties.
