1 pack New Kenji Sushi Rice (Microwaveable Sushi Rice)
2 sheets Nori seaweed
50ml Sushi vinegar
Fillings:
Salmon
Avocado
Cucumber
How To Prepare:
Cook the rice in the microwave on full power (800W) for 2 minutes.
Mix the cooked rice with 50ml of sushi vinegar and let it cool.
Cut the fillings into thin 10cm strips and halve the nori seaweed sheets.
Spread the sushi rice on the rough side of a nori sheet, covering the left half. No need to spread the rice to the edges.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice for extra flavor.
Hold the nori sheet horizontally in your left hand (you can do this from the start, but it might be easier after spreading the rice).
Add the fillings in the center on top of the rice.
To roll the temaki, fold the filled side from the left over the filling, then roll the plain side of the nori from the right, forming a cone. Secure the end with a piece of moist rice.
