1. Prepare the Rice Cakes:

   • Soak the rice cakes in warm water for about 20 minutes to soften them.

2. Make the Sauce:

   • Mix gochujang (Korean chili paste), gochugaru (red chili flakes), soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar to create a flavorful sauce.

3. Cook the Rice Cakes:

   • Heat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
   • Add butter and minced garlic.
   • Add the soaked rice cakes and cook until slightly crispy (about 5 minutes).

4. Add the Sauce and Cheese:

   • Pour the sauce over the rice cakes and mix well.
   • Top with grated mozzarella cheese.

5. Broil Until Bubbly:

   • Place the skillet under the broiler until the cheese is browned and bubbly.

6. Serve Hot:

   • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
