Fish Balls & Meat Balls

Fish balls and meatballs are identical things but prepared using fish paste and ground meat respectively. Fish and meat balls are essential components in Asian cuisine, especially in Chinese, Filipino, Hong Kong and other prominent regions of East Asia and Southeast Asia. The ground or pasted meat or fish are shaped like balls with added ingredients including breadcrumbs, seasonings, egg, and butter and so on. Meat and fish balls are used in soups, and for making fried, braised or steamed dishes.
