Fresh Green Mooli is a kind of radish native to Asia, which is commonly used in Asian cuisines. ‘Daikon Radish’ is the name by which a ‘Mooli’ is most popularly known, of which the former is Japanese inspired name, while the latter is more Indian. Daikon radish or mooli is used in Japanese cuisine for the preparation of many types of pickles. Mooli is also significant in Chinese, Vietnamese, Filippino, Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani cuisines.
