Hanamaruki is Japan’s authentic miso making company. Here you find a pack of Shiro Miso, which is in fact white miso paste in 1 Kg. Comparing to the dark miso pastes, shiro miso has less salt content. This has less fermentation time as well. Also referred to as ‘sweet’ or ‘mellow’ miso occasionally. Its mild, and delicate flavour makes it more adaptable comparing to the darker miso versions.
