2 salted egg yolks, mashed
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Instructions:
Cook the Gourd: In a pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Add the hairy gourd chunks and cook until tender.
Add the Salted Egg: Once the gourd is cooked, add the mashed salted egg yolks to the pot. Stir until the soup turns a creamy yellow color.
