Potato Starch

Potato starch or potato flour is the starch obtained from potatoes. To make potato starch, the potatoes are peeled and crushed; the released starch grains are washed in water and then dried to make them into powder. Potato starch is a good thickening agent used in dishes. It is sometimes used as an alternative for wheat flour.
