Nanami Togarashi is a Japanese seasoning mix made of a blend of seven spice items. The 300g Assorted Chilli Pepper Mix packet contains a carefully prepared blend of chilli pepper, orange peel, black sesame seed, white sesame seed, Japanese pepper, ginger, and seaweed. In Japanese language, this spice mix is called Nanami Togarashi. Generally people use the term ‘Schichimi’ to refer to Nanami spice mixes as they both simply mean the same thing, ‘seven flavours’.
