Brown sugar is unrefined sugar or partially refined sugar which has higher quantity of molasses which is why it has a brown colour which varies between lighter to dark. Quality sugar canes from Mauritius are made use of in the production of Taikoo brown sugar. They are naturally processed by simply pressing out, cleaning and crystallising the juice from sugar canes.
