Its preparation is based on a 200 years old recipe that makes use of fermented anchovies, salt, and water, and its production is reserved only to the registered manufacturers within Phu Quoc Island. Thanh Ha is such a registered brand in the production of this Vietnamese fish sauce. The flora around the island makes good forage for the anchovies which helps them to grow abundantly around the island supporting the Phu Quoc fish production. The product is available in 720ml bottles.
